How do you feel about emotions?

Do you think they are scary?
Do you avoid showing emotion?
Are emotions something to hide?

What do you think about people who do express their emotions?

Are they emotional? Dramatic? Soft? Out of control? Messy?

That was a lot of questions, but really think about it.

You are taught from a very young age to not be emotional. 

Someone might say it is ok to be sad, but then why are they always trying to cheer you up? Or tell you to focus on the positive?

The truth is, all emotions are important.

There are no "bad" emotions. There is nothing wrong with feeling any of them. 

If you've been following along, you know that emotions are simply messengers.

They are here to help.

Emotions are what allow us to connect with others.

You don't even have to speak the same language to connect on an emotional level.

Emotions allow you to connect with yourself.

Denying emotions is destructive.

I teach a simple process for truly allowing yourself to experience any emotion. 

Did you know emotion - which are just chemicals released in the body - only take about 90 seconds to run their course?

The problem is when you don't allow your body to process an emotion, and when your brain keeps triggering the emotion over and over until it consumes you.

Emotions are meant to fuel you. They drive your behavior whether you like it or not!

Having a healthy relationship with your emotions means you are free to experience the whole range of emotions - both painful and enjoyable.

You will feel in control of your emotions - instead of your emotions controlling you.
You will get to feel fully alive and like yourself.
You will be able to overcome any challenge.
You will trust yourself and be the best version of yourself.

The list goes on. Developing a healthy relationship with your emotions might be the most important thing you ever do.
